The Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic (RSNC) is the teaching clinic of Canada’s premier naturopathic college, The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). As the largest naturopathic teaching clinic in Canada, senior interns (under the supervision of certified naturopaths) care for more the 100 patients per day ranging from the very young to the very old providing quality health care at a reasonable price that is accessible to all. The clinic is equipped with an on-site blood laboratory, botanical dispensary, and various hydrotherapy facilities for the diagnosis and treatment of health concerns.
The Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic is in urgent need of improvements. The rooms have not been renovated in over 10 years and need to be revitalized to improve the patient and student experience in the clinic. The RSNC clinic rooms need floor replacements, new furniture including examination beds and electrical and plumbing upgrades. To contribute to the $240,000 fundraising campaign, the CCNM Class of 2014 has set a target of $6000 to revitalize one clinic room at the RSNC.
Vitamin e Nutrition Consulting has partnered with the Class of 2014 to help them reach this goal. Please contact Emily directly to find out more about this partnership. If you would like to donate directly to the clinic, check out the RSNC Revitalization Campaign. Your donations directly support Naturopathic Careers through the enhancement of the clinics that provide us the valuable training and experiences necessary for clinical practice.
Naturopathic medicine, which often incorporates nutrition, is a distinct system of primary health care that addresses the root cause of illness or disease. Promoting wellness and prevention, naturopathic medicine harnesses science to unleash nature’s healing power. It uses natural techniques and therapies to diagnost and treat both acute and chronic conditions. Naturopathic medicine plays an important role in integrative health care. Therapies can be used on their own or in conjunction with conventional medical treatments.
